Following the Eastern Ontario Health Unit directives, the Town of Hawkesbury wishes to notify the public of the preventive closure of the entire Sports Complex (multi room, halls, arena and swimming pool) starting Saturday, March 14, 2020 until a date to be decided later. This preventive action follows measures announced today by the Ministry of Health, which aim to curb the spread of Covid-19. These are precautions to ensure the health and safety of all Hawkesbury’s citizens, although no cases have been announced to date.

New partnership to jumpstart rural Ontario community’s efforts to bring homes to its residents.

Town of Hawkesbury will conduct pre-development work with the Alberta Rural Development Network (ARDN) in an effort to relieve mounting pressure on residents caused by a lack of affordable housing.

- Municipal Office, door B at 600 Higginson Street in the mail box.

- Through your online banking services (smartphone or computer).

- At your financial institution.

- Pre-Authorized debit plan.

ECOLOMONDO REPORTS ON THE PROGRESS OF CONSTRUCTION AT ITS NEW HAWKESBURY TDP TURNKEY FACILITY 

Montreal, March 9, 2020 Ecolomondo Corporation (TSX-V: ECM) (the “Company” or “Ecolomondo”) reports that the construction of its new, first of its kind, Thermal Decomposition (“TDP”) turnkey facility, previously announced on June 20, 2019, that is being built in Hawkesbury, Ontario, progresses according to plan and on budget.

The building is rapidly progressing. Foundations and steel structure have been completed and work has begun on the exterior walls.

We have been informed by the Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management that there is an email spam claiming to be from the CDC stating the virus has spread to victims’ home cities and to click a link for an updated list.

This looks like a legitimate email from the CDC (in USA), but uses an email from a domain other than cdc.gov and includes misleading links that lead to a different site when clicked. Please do not open and delete the email.
