Rebates for Vacant Commercial and Industrial Units will End December 31, 2019

This program has been eliminated across all local municipalities within the United Counties of Prescott and Russell effective January 1, 2020, in accordance with Ontario Regulation 325/01, as amended.
The vacant unit rebate program for commercial and industrial properties has provided partial property tax rebates for qualifying units and buildings that were unoccupied and unused for a period of at least 90 days within a taxation year.
The last day of eligibility for potential claims was December 31, 2019. The last day on which a valid application could be made for the 2019 taxation year was February 28, 2020.

This notice is to inform you that the replacement of sidewalk sections will start on Monday, July 6 and will end on Friday, July 17, weather permitting.
We ask for your assistance by parking your vehicles on adjacent streets in order to allow our contractor to proceed with the work. Furthermore, by doing so, it will reduce the amount of time associated with this task.
Note that your driveway will not be accessible during the construction and the curing period of the concrete. We expect that your driveway will be accessible on July 17.
