Summary

The Talent Attraction advisor will work with the Canadian Operations HR Business Partner team to attract and select best talent for operational and technical positions in our plants and office located in Canada. The incumbent will manage an efficient, timely selection process and successfully close new hires while developing strong internal relationships with managers, management, HR business partners and candidates. This position will also practice innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract candidates and ensure alignment with our values.

Responsibilities 

  • Advise and guide managers in the analysis of needs and profiles sought;
  • Work closely with managers and HR business partners to ensure an efficient recruitment cycle;
  • Manage all aspects of the recruitment cycle from the Talent Acquisition Software (ATS), i.e. from the approval of positions to the hiring of candidates;
  • Coordinate all forms of pre-employment testing for candidate evaluation purposes (psychometric tests, technical tests, etc.);
  • Carry out administrative follow-ups related to staffing (confirmation of candidate status, employment contract, benefits, start date);
  • Actively participate in the retention of new employees with the HR team;
  • Stay abreast of new trends and innovative strategies in recruitment and selection of candidates;
  • Contribute to the evolution of the employer brand and promote it;
  • Contribute to the improvement of processes related to talent acquisition;
  • Participate in various projects with the Human Resources team;
  • Use social networks such as LinkedIn, Facebook, etc. to find qualified candidates.

 Professional requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or relevant corporate experience;
  • Ideally, three years of recruiting experience in various types of positions (professional level production);
  • Know how to use, effectively, social media platforms relevant to recruiting;
  • Experience using talent acquisition software such as SuccessFactors (SAP) - ATS;
  • Communicates fluently in English and French, both verbally and in writing (Asset);
  • Has integrity, good judgment and an impeccable sense of ethics;
  • Good ability to manage priorities, organizational skills, autonomy.
